EagleZip.com has just received notification from our upstream fiber optic carrier that they will be performing an emergency network maintenance Wednesday, March 20 (Tuesday night) between 12:00am midnight and 5:00am. The purpose for their update with such short notice is to resolve a software bug which caused a 15 minute outage for our customers last week Thursday.
Please note that this is a separate maintenance activity from what EagleZip.com will be doing ourselves later in the week. The maintenance taking place tonight is being performed by our vendor and is beyond our control.
Our vendor is anticipating an outage sometime between midnight and 5:00am of approximately 30 minutes. However customers should be prepared for service interruptions during the entire maintenance window.
We apologize for this inconvenience and short notice. However we do appreciate our connectivity vendors providing prompt resolutions to issues such as this which have the potential to cause bigger issues for everyone.
