RESCHEDULED – Network Maintenance Notice 11/18/18

Due to poor weather and travel conditions overnight, we were unable to complete the equipment upgrades which were scheduled for last night. The work has been rescheduled to begin Sunday, November 18 at 11:00pm. We still expect all work to be completed and normal service restored by 5:00am Monday morning.

Our cable Internet and telephone customers in Youngsville, Pittsfield, and Irvine will experience the greatest impact from this work as we will be replacing the servers which provide our cable Internet service.  These customers will experience a total service outage which will likely last for a couple of hours while the equipment is physically replaced and new equipment is connected to the cable Internet system.  PLEASE NOTE THAT CABLE INTERNET CUSTOMERS WILL LIKELY NEED TO POWER CYCLE THEIR WIRELESS ROUTERS FRIDAY MORNING ONCE THIS WORK IS COMPLETE.  This means you'll just need to unplug the power from the wireless router for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in and wait a couple minutes for the router to restart itself.

Wireless Internet customers, telephone customers outside of the Youngsville area, and all website hosting and e-mail customers will experience shorter duration service interruptions during the maintenance window while equipment is temporarily disconnected or rebooted to facilitate the cable equipment replacement.

We hope that by scheduling this work during low usage hours that the inconvenience will be minimal for most customers.  We appreciate your patience and understanding while we complete this necessary upgrade.
